Distance Learning Course//

Our Distance Learning option for the ATPL ground school is offered in collaboration with ProPilot. It is a CAA approved program. It offers a fresh and different approach to ground training assuring you a high rate of first time exam passes.

The three-module system reduces the stress on exam days and allows you to study where and when you like, at your own pace. There are 12 days of classroom based tuition, some of which can be taken over the weekend to minimize using holidays for those of you who also have full-time jobs.

The classroom phases consist of 12 days, spread across the 3 modules, spent at the school at Coventry Airport. The first classroom module is 4 days (or 2 days and 2 days if you chose to split it), the second module 5 days (or 2 days and 3 days if you chose to split it) and the last module is the shortest at 3 days. The classroom phase is an essential component of the course and a CAA/EASA requirement.

The day includes 6 hours of instruction with only one validation progress test per module. The lessons are taken by highly experienced ATPL ground school staff complemented by current scheduled, charter, corporate and freight pilots, all of whom have strong training backgrounds. The lessons are highly focused on relating material in the JAR exam to the professional operational world of aviation.

To minimize the time you need to take off work, some of the courses include weekends. Alternatively classroom phases the week before the JAR exams are also available. In addition you can attend the first 2 days of module 1 and module 2 earlier, so that you can consolidate the fundamental concepts before moving on. You then take the remaining days at the end of the module.
