Flight Crew Selection Days
Offers of entry to the Academy are strictly limited to those candidates who have successfully completed our Flight Crew Selection Aptitude Assessment Day.
The assessments are undertaken at our Coventry training facilities. During this assessment, we measure candidates for Aptitude, Motivation and Attitude (AMA) following an assessment model that has been written and approved by both civil and military aviation organisations.
You will start your Flight Crew Selection Day at 10.00am with a Multi Crew exercise. This exercise is designed to show your interaction with your fellow crew members. This is followed by an informative presentation giving you an insight in to the aviation industry and a detailed breakdown of what Atlantic Flight Training can offer you.
Next you will complete a selection of tests and examinations including a written Aviation Knowledge exam, a written Maths/Physics exam and a 2 hour computer based skills test which tests your memory, mental capacity, hand/eye co-ordination and mental agility.
During the day, you will be given a guided tour of our training facilities before ending with an informal interview and de-brief during which time your assessment results will be discussed in detail and the "next steps" given to you.
