Our Training Aircraft//

At AFT, we're justifiably proud of our fleet of glass cockpit aircraft, allowing our students to benefit from the industry's best flight training opportunities.

  • Our Single Engine Diamond DA-40 is glass cockpit, with a FADEC equipped engine/propeller control system operated by a single lever which helps greatly in reducing pilot workload.
  • Our Twin Engine is the Diamond DA-42 Twin Star, providing you with the ideal Instrument Rating training platform, utilised for CPL skill test general handling and the procedural element of the instrument course leading to the final Instrument Rating Skill Test.
  • Our entire fleet is fitted with the Garmin 1000 twin screen navigation/avionics system making it the most advanced available for flight training.
  • Preparation for the use of this avionics/navigation system is achieved through our DA-42 Simulators located at the Flight School.
